What We Do

Manage the Water From the Inside

Interior waterproofing is the practical fix when excavation isn’t possible or cost-effective. We capture the water and send it out before it ever reaches your floor.

Interior Drainage System

We install an interior drainage channel along the footing that catches water entering at the floor-wall joint and carries it to a sump.

Sump Pump Installation

A reliable sump pump pit and pump collect the captured water and pump it safely away from your foundation — the heart of an interior system.

Vapour Barrier

A vapour barrier on the wall directs moisture down into the drainage and keeps the finished side of your basement dry.

Cove Joint Sealing

The cove joint where the floor meets the wall is a common entry point. We seal and drain it so water can’t pool on your floor.

Crack Injection

Leaking wall cracks get injected and sealed from inside with polyurethane or epoxy as part of a complete interior fix.

Dry, Usable Basement

The result is a basement you can finish, store in and stop worrying about — backed by our written warranty.

Common Questions

Interior & Basement Waterproofing FAQ

Quick answers about interior basement waterproofing in Paris, Brantford and across SW Ontario.

Is interior or exterior waterproofing better?

Both work — they just solve the problem differently. Interior waterproofing manages water that enters, using drainage and a sump, and is faster and more affordable. Exterior waterproofing stops water at the outside wall and lasts longest. We recommend the right one for your home; see our exterior waterproofing too.

Do I need a sump pump?

For most interior systems, yes — the drainage channel needs somewhere to send the water, and a sump pit and pump move it safely away from the house. We size and install one suited to your basement.

How much does interior waterproofing cost?

It depends on how much of the perimeter needs drainage and whether a sump and crack repairs are involved. It’s usually more affordable than exterior excavation. Every quote is free and itemized in writing. Call (519) 802-2138.

Can you waterproof a finished basement?

Yes, though we may need to open a section of the finished wall or floor edge to install the drainage. We’ll explain exactly what’s involved and keep the disruption to a minimum.

Will this stop the musty smell?

Controlling the water and humidity is the first step. Once the basement stays dry, the musty, damp smell usually clears up. A vapour barrier and working sump make a big difference.

Do you back the work with a warranty?

Yes. Every waterproofing job we complete is backed by a written warranty for your peace of mind.

Dave did a great job of waterproofing our basement. Not only did he fix the problem but he also gave valuable advice. For someone like myself who knows nothing about foundation and concrete walls of homes Dave was very knowledgeable and fixed the problem with a reasonable price.
